You will primarily be responsible for increasing revenue for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's 2012-2013 season subscription campaign, by helping previous patrons and new ones buy season tickets.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully closing telephone sales, with lapsed subscribers, returning single ticket buyers and new prospects.
Some computer skills are needed. Preferably has knowledge of classical, jazz, piano, chamber and/or world music.
A business casual appearance and professional manner is required; as well as experience in sales, marketing and or customer relations.
Respondents should be highly motivated, reliable, punctual, outgoing, trustworthy and creative.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and creativity in understanding the patron's decision making process, helping them envision the experience they will enjoy and effectively communicating the benefits of purchasing now over the phone.
This position is part-time, base salary, plus commission and bonuses.
Shifts: Evenings (5-9PM) and Mornings (10-2PM)
