Diesel Mechanics are responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty semi -tractors under minimal supervision. Repairs will include a wide variety of preventative maintenance in addition to any other duties assigned.

Essential Functions:
? Perform preventative maintenance, inspections & repairs
? Complete air / hydraulic brake repairs
? Drivetrain, steering & suspension maintenance
? Perform electrical troubleshooting & electronic component repair
? Repair AC & refrigeration

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
? Assist other technicians in repairs
? Comply with safety & EPA procedures
? Continue to learn new technology in advanced diagnostics, internal engine & transmission repairs
? All other duties assigned by management of the company.

Minimum Requirements:
? 3+ years of diesel maintenance experience required
? Ability to work flexible schedule (shift work, weekends, holidays, etc) required
? Must have valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
? Possess own hand tools preferred
? Certification from Diesel Technical school preferred ( brakes, AC &/or EPA, DOT inspections, transmissions, engines) Own tools preferred - we will provide uniforms.
30 -- 45 hours a week average.
Compensation is based on experience.
Bilingual is helpful but not mandatory.
