We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for an infusion Facility.
The Technician must have the following requirements:
-Must be state licensed and certified
-Must have the minimum of 1 year in infusion pharmacy
-Must provide proof and documentation of experience
-Must know mathematical stand point in infusion
-Must know data entry
-Must know sterilization procedures
-Must know how to work in a hood
-Must know how to perform admixtures of Chemotherapy drugs, ABX , IVIG'S and
TPNs.
-Must be able to do inventory of rx's and keep log of what goes in and out.
-Part Time with possible full time for right candidates.
-Participate in the fulfillment process and Pharmacy support responsibilities
-Communicate performance and quality standards expectations to fellow teammates (technicians and Pharmacy support personnel)
-Ensure the proper flow and documentation of prescription fulfillment is followed at all times
-Ensure appropriate quality controls are in place and communicate to pharmacy teams and facility partners in situations in which quality may have been compromised.
