More infoA Midwest real estate firm is seeking a highly motivated, experienced maintenance technician for a 100 unit apartment community in Naperville, IL. The initial requirement is for the candidate to initially work 40-hours per week for a period and move into a part-time role. The community is under rehab and going through transistion since being recently purchased.

Qualified candidates will need to be able handle repair requests promptly including after hours emergency calls and maintain the common areas such as; electical, plumbing, drywall and paint repairs. The candiate will be comfortable working in an enviroment that is undergoing improvement and has not fully reached it's potential.

Responsibilities will include being able to prioritize projects, order supplies, coordinate work with contractors as needed and report directly to the property manager. In addition, the qualified candidate will support the manager by recording accurate data on service tickets and routinely keep manager informed of their progress.

Qualifications:

? 2-5 year residential apartment maintenance experience
? Ability to interact effectively with manager, residents, peers and contractors
? Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours for emergency calls

Salary $15 per hour plus oncall paid.
