Standard Market is a celebration of food. We are seeking a talented, dedicated Store Artist/Signmaker for our 33,000-square-foot flagship store in Westmont, Illinois. The role is either Part Time or Full Time. Please specify your preference in your application.

Responsibilities: Create, by hand and via computer (Microsoft Word & Adobe InDesign), attractive signs and shelf tags to be displayed throughout store. Signs are the primary form of in-store communication and are used to reflect pricing and also any special promotionsMaintain the overall brand appearance and appeal of Standard Market through handwriting and designRegularly perform store walkthroughs to ensure quality and appearance of signage and merchandising displaysKeep up-to-date on hundreds of changing prices within the store, adjusting signage as necessaryRecord and track pricing changes in a daily log, to be reviewed by the head office for sales and supply informationWork as part of a dynamic floor team, acting as a product ambassador in any other duties assigned as neededQualifications: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Word for any printed signsAttractive handwriting for written chalk and paper signsAbility to work weekends and holidays as neededA desire to grow with Standard Market and be part of our growth through effective in-store presentationRetail experience and interest in food a major plus If you will take as much pride in creating an accurate shelf price tag as you will in creating a beautiful holiday poster, please submit your r?sum? and cover letter (and portfolio, if available).
