More infoOur client, a major retailer in the heart of downtown Chicago, seeks a Retail Store Manager with a strong operations background, and previous experience. The Manager must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations where only limited standardization exists.

Responsibilities:
Must understand Sales Reports as well as Profit and Loss reports
Develop talent through training and coaching in the moment
Recruit, interview and hire

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years solid experience in a wholesale and/or retail environment
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers
Must have ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and solve problems and meet deadlines with a high level of attention to detail
Likes to take initiative and must be operationally savvy
