Ayurvedic Massage Therapist & Herbalist
for Ayurvedic Center Opening in Chicago This Spring!
The massage therapist position is for someone with a basic knowledge and/or very strong interest in learning more about ayurveda. This person will receive extensive training in ayurvedic bodywork, and herbal medicines used in ayurvedic treatment.
This position would be ideal for a recent graduate of a 2-year practitioner program looking to include authentic ayurvedic treatments in her practice, or a massage therapist looking to specialize in authentic ayurvedic treatments.
Must be licensed massage therapist in the state of Illinois.
Ideal Candidates: Experienced massage therapists with the cultivated skill to hold space for the client. I am not looking for a massage therapist who knows how to execute a protocol. Rather, someone who can exercise his or her intellect in choosing/creating appropriate treatment plans, according to the principals of ayurveda, in conjunction with his or her uniqueness as a therapist. I am looking for massage therapists who are leaders, pioneers, and individuals, capable of operating collectively through a shared intention of this project.
There is considerable training/learning and opportunity in this position for the right canidate(s).

Courses include meditation, yoga, nutrition, self-care, herbal medicine, as well as many other subjects.
