Experience in Warehouse Management and granite/marble is a must. Certified forklift operator a plus.

SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers concerned with receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping materials, in the stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
? Ensure that all inbound and outbound orders are properly documented
? Prepares paperwork in the form of invoices, packing slips, and anything else needed for a pickup of delivery. Ensures that forms are signed by customer, payments are made, and they match the invoice
? Verify barcode numbers and slab sizes with the warehouse associates
? Ensures all discrepancies and defects are reported in a timely manner
? Cross-checks done for any customer that pays by check (COD) Verifies and maintains logs
? Responsible for all inventory reporting
? Ensures that all warehouse associates and drivers are performing their daily duties
? Ensures that warehouse is always presentable
? Inspects and submits container reports within 48 working hours. Ensures containers are unloaded in a timely manner
? Dispatches container pickup, with container number, and posts the information in Axapta within 48 hours
? Ensures daily barcode logs (for outgoing and incoming slabs) and updated daily
? Prepares internal purchase orders for buying goods
? Updates the containers that are received
? Receives and verifies invoices and requisitions for goods and services
? Verifies that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures of the company
? Manages and records bi-weekly payroll
? Monitors the operational costs of the warehouse and overtime
? Makes sure First In, First Out (FIFO) is followed at all times
? Maintains the day-to-day operations of the warehouse as per OSHA regulations and company policies

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage subordinates. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
