Description of duties:

Your daily job will be to create, design, layout, color separate, and prepare artwork for our digital & screen printers. While this design position has creative aspects the vast majority of the work is production style work. Because of this you MUST BE very detailed oriented with an eye for accuracy!

Education and/or Experience:

A graphic design education is a plus but not required, there is no substitute for raw talent and experience. You MUST have a minimum of 2-3 years of on the job design experience working print format marketing and branding materials. No exceptions!

Software skills needed:

- Proficiency on MAC platform is a MUST! You must also be familiar with the PC format as well.
- Expert level Illustrator, and Photoshop required and In-Design is a plus.
- Intimate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat with a solid background of working with PDF files for various types of print production.

Graphic skills needed:

- Expert level knowledge working with vector and raster based art files of all types.
- Experience setting up files for film output when they require color trapping and/or overlays for screen printing.
- Experience with Digital printing a plus.
- Experience working in a sign shop -- a HUGE plus!

Work habits and office skills:

- Ability to work on multiple projects within tight deadlines with accuracy and composure while incurring frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
- Prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and quality of work.
- Perform quick project turnaround.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and thrive in both independent and collaborative settings.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime.
- Ability and willingness to learn new software and hardware technologies
- Excellent written/verbal communications skills.

Pay/Benefits / Hours
We recognize people as our most valuable asset. Our competitive starting salary of $11 - $14 per hour (based on experience) and benefits package includes 401K, dental insurance and medical insurance. Business casual attire. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 PM CST
