Hiring Experienced Armed Patrol Officers (Des Plaines / Palatine)

More infoEstablished Security Company is hiring experienced armed security officers for residential patrol contracts in the Des Plaines and Palatine areas. Applicants must have a valid drivers license, FOID Card, Unarmed Certification / Armed Certifications and at least 2 years of experience as an armed guard. References may be requested. You will be required to pass our examination before being able to work on contract. You can have your own weapon on duty (must be inspected by management) and if you have any other equipment (i.e vests, duty belts, holster, handcuffs etc.. ) it will need to be inspected and pass our standards. If you do not have equipment we can provide, please inquire about details.

Armed Patrol Officers are required to:
-Type reports (Emails incident reports and end of shift reports)
-Conduct foot patrol (requires a lot of walking)
-Check buildings and structures
-Respond to resident calls
-Deal with residents (intoxication, parties, disturbances, domestics, gang activity)
-Deal with persons not allowed on property (trespassing)
-Perform vehicle stops
-Be professional, courteous and customer service orientated
-Maintain company squad car and equipment
-Communicate effectively with other officers and police
-Must learn company 10 codes
-Must show range time every six months
-Have their own transportation and provide a driver abstract (Vehicle required, tardiness will not be tolerated)
-Perform any additional manager assigned duties
