Poster conservation/retouching (Chicago loop)

More infoWe have a workshop that repairs and conserves collectible posters. We are looking for someone in our mounting operation to stretch canvas, mix paste, and mount posters. You will work 2-3 full days per week under the supervision of master conservators. Other skills will be taught over time.
This could lead to full time employment.
Your desired background:

-- art school
-- a good craft person who has worked with their hands. Collage experience is very useful,.
-- drawing skills with good color perception is a must. We'll ask you to show us examples,
-- you must have the ability to manipulate large heavy wooden stretchers,
-- experience stretching canvas is a plus,
-- air brushing experience is a plus in choosing a candidate.
