Production Graphic Designer for Web Team (Des Plaines)

More infoOakley Signs & Graphics is looking for a graphic designer to join our creative team to help complete and maintain a large multi-website project.

Description of work:

Your daily job will be to create, design, layout, and manage sign templates in print, and web formats for the real estate, and other related industries. In addition you will be highly involved in the day-to-day management of our 45 plus online stores. It is imperative that you be very detailed oriented with an eye for accuracy!

Education and/or Experience:

A graphic design or web development education is a plus but not required, there is no substitute for raw talent and experience.

Software skills REQUIRED:

? Expert level in Illustrator, and Photoshop.
? Proficiency on MAC and PC platforms.

Skills that are not required but a major plus:

? Working knowledge of HTML and CSS programming, and use of Adobe Dreamweaver a major plus.
? Social Network knowledge such as Facebook and LinkedIN.
? Working knowledge of Adobe Flash and InDesign.

Work habits and office skills:

? Ability to work on multiple projects within tight deadlines with accuracy and composure while incurring frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
? Prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
? Attention to detail and quality of work.
? Perform quick project turnaround.
? Excellent written/verbal communications skills.

Pay/Benefits / Hours

We recognize people as our most valuable asset. Our competitive starting salary of $11.00 - $15.00 per hour (based on experience) and benefits package includes 401K, bonuses based on individual performance, dental insurance and medical insurance. Business casual attire. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 PM CST
