You'll be selling products and services that help companies enhance their image and build brand awareness. We provide businesses throughout Chicagoland with image-enhancing logoed apparel and floor mats, as well as the cleaning, pick up and delivery of those and other reusable textile products. And the best part of this opportunity is that we have a full complement of qualified service professionals to take care of the customer after you make the sale . . . so you don't have to! You can just focus on doing what you like and do best . . . selling!
HERE'S WHAT YOU MUST HAVE --
The candidate must be enthusiastic, high energy, organized, and a quick learner. You have the ability to effectively manage time, your territory and multiple projects. You possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. You have a minimum of 2 years successful sales experience in industrial or service sectors. You are effective calling on and selling various levels in an organization. You have experience building new business from your prospecting and cold calling efforts.
Beyond your pleasing personality and outgoing demeanor, you understand and know when it's time to talk business, determine if a prospect wants what you sell and is qualified, and ask for the order. And since this is an outside sales position, you'll need a valid driver's license, a good driving record and a vehicle.
YOU SHOULD HAVE --
Proficiency in various software programs including data base management. Ability to bounce back from rejection quickly knowing it's not personal. You're willing to work hard and go the extra mile, even if it means occasionally showing up at the prospect's office early in the morning or late in the day because that's their best time to meet with you. You're a good listener and able to ask good questions to find the real problems which you can help solve; and you have a track record of selling products or services that weren't the least expensive.
