This Position Features
Door to door service from rail to customer and customer to rail, as well as both drop and hook freight and live load/unload freightAverage travel area is the Greater Chicago area and suburbs (most loads pick up and deliver within 200 miles of Chicago)Home daily with work schedule being Wednesday-Sunday or Thursday-MondayOn-site dispatch and maintenanceUniform shirts provided
Eligible Candidates Include
Experienced truck drivers (1 year minimum tractor-trailer experience)Haz-Mat endorsement within 90 days of being hiredAbility to conduct all operations especially rail operations in a safe manner
Pay and Benefits
Our average truck driver earns $52,000 to $75,000 per yearYou could be eligible for $700.00 a week in guarantee pay your first 4 weeksPay is per mile plus load pay, performance and other accessorial pay401kMedical, dental and vision insurance, and other numerous benefitsPaid OrientationIf you are a U.S. military veteran, Guard member or Reservist, and new to the trucking industry, you may be eligible to earn a monthly educational benefit check from the VA in addition to your Schneider check - up to $1069 each month - through Schneider's Military Apprenticeship program.
