Software Sales Engineer / Business Analyst (Chicago Loop)

You will gather software development requirements for prospective client projects and will estimate those projects based on company specifications. The successful applicant will be able to work with little direction, be able to handle shifting priorities and work on multiple projects at once. You will act as a respected liaison between business and technical resources.

Responsibilities:

? Work with customers to define requirements for their custom web application or website.
? Demonstrate our software development capabilities, projects, and applications.
? Document requirements in a professional and organized way.
? Review customer system requirements with our project manager and web application programmers.
? Communicate technical specifications between our experts and our customers.
? Create estimate for a custom web application based on feedback from management.
? Design website diagrams, use cases and wireframes to detail customer desired functionality.

Requirements:

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Must be friendly and customer oriented.
? 3+ years of organizing, planning, developing or designing web 2.0 websites.
? Have an understanding of web technology and design.
? Be able to organize and structure data and digital information.
? Experience working in a technology environment.
? Experience estimating project work (must be proficient in MS Excel).
? Experience using MS Visio to create website process flow diagrams, wireframes and use cases.
? Experience designing wireframes of website pages/screens using software such as Azure.
? Ability to juggle multiple tasks and the judgment needed to prioritize them.
