More infoThis posting is for a Tribune home delivery route in Marengo. It covers the Southern and Western outskirts of Marengo. This is a heavy mile route averaging about 70 miles a day for the route. On Sunday, it is closer to 80 miles as there are Sunday only customers that live between Garden Prairie and Belivdere.

There are very few papers on this route. On Monday and Tuesday, there are only a combined 45 papers. On Sunday, the heaviest day, there are 130 customers. Time wise, the route takes about 1h 45m - 2h 15m. On Sunday, it is closer to 2 1/2 hours.

The route has a base pay of $325. With the price of gas so high, there are gas allowances that are paid out if gas remains above $4.00 and $3.50 gallon. Each gas bonus is $14. So, with gas bonuses, the route's WEEKLY pay is $353.

I'm looking for someone that is responsible and is committed long term. Experience in newspaper is preferred, but not a requirement.

The papers are picked-up in Woodstock daily. So people who live close to Marengo or Woodstock would be ideal as the route finishes by the County Line.
