More infoWe are looking for help in a café/restaurant located on the UofC Campus in Hyde Park. Weekend availability is a must. The right candidate must be energetic, personable, punctual and team oriented. He/she must also be able listen and follow directions as well as interact with customers with a positive attitude 100% of the time. Weekly hours will range. Some of the duties will include handling cash register, taking customer orders, opening/closing, food prepping, making coffee, washing dishes as well as general cleaning. BARISTA
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers who walk through our doors
• Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and products
• Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items
• Taste all drip coffee and espresso to ensure it meets our standards

Qualifications

• Must have experience on a semi-automatic espresso machine, (NOT like Starbucks)
• Must be neat/organized at work and with your appearance and have the ability to be friendly early in the am!!
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and co-workers
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment

LINE COOK

Essential Responsibilities:

* Report to scheduled shift on time and in complete uniform.
* To work with other cooks in completing a daily production list based on daily production.

* To prepare all items to recipes as outlined on the menu. .
* Follow local, state and federal guidelines for the proper handling of food products. MUST HAVE FOOD SAFETY &SANITATION LICENSE

* Assist in the overall sanitation of the production kitchen and production facility.
* Work with other members of the kitchen as a team. Maintain open and effective communication with others.
* Perform daily and weekly cleaning schedule
