Requirements:
? Registered Nurse (RN) preferred
? Prior respiratory, tracheostomy, and/or ventilator experience a plus!
? Minimum of one (1) year experience preferred
? Responsible work ethic, RELIABLE, respectful, punctual, positive, clean
FEMALE who is caring, organized, and can multi-task and take initiative.
? Must have your own dependable transportation.
? Ability to lift at least a minimum of 50-75 pounds is necessary, as I frequently need to be
repositioned in bed and transferred at times
? CPR Certified
? Must be able to provide photocopy of social security card and a valid drivers license
? Must speak fluent English
? Must pass criminal background check
? Must be able to provide results of last TB test and proof of vaccinations and/or boosters for all major communicable diseases
Major Job Responsibilities:
? Management of trach care, including sterile suctioning techniques, ability to change tracheostomy tube routinely and/or in emergencies
? Management of feeding tube including the administration of daily medications and tubefeeds
? Ability to check major vital signs and assess respiratory status
? Administering nebulizer treatments and operating oxygen concentrator
? Cleaning and sterilizing all respiratory equipment on a regular basis
? Basic ADL's including dressing, bathing, toileting, grooming, transferring in and out of wheelchair. Some tasks are of an intimate nature, but as long as you have an open mind, are friendly, and compassionate you will be a perfect candidate for this job!
Minor Responsibilities:
? Light housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, dusting, etc.), some meal preparation, accompanying and/or driving patient to doctors appointment and/or other outings, assistance with walking dog
Willing to provide on-the-job training and orientation for the position
Hours Needed: Monday through Friday (Two Part-Time positions, 2 or 3 days per week), 7am-5/5:30pm (some flexibility with times is a HUGE plus)
PAY: Negotiable depending on experience
