Landscape Gardener, Landscaping Laborer and Foreman Wanted (Naperville)

The company is also seeking an individual who has experience in motivating and supervising landscape gardeners and laborers. Fraser Landscapes only hires those that are dedicated to serving our customers in a thoughtful and detailed manner.

As part of our enthusiastic teams, employees install, renovate, and maintain gardens of all types. Duties include installing large trees and plants, specialized pruning, transplanting, mulching, edging, weeding, and use of power and hand tools. Every day on the job is different! This is physically demanding but rewarding work in a pleasant team-oriented environment.

Gardener and Landscape Laborer Requirements:
? Solid knowledge of plant maintenance and installation; horticultural background and/or landscape experience required
? Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
? Reliability: showing up to work on time and when scheduled
? Computer access for job scheduling
? Own transportation to and from office

Foreman Requirements:
? Manage and supervise other team members while working alongside them installing and maintaining gardens
? Drive crew truck and trailer for jobs and material pickup
? Fill out supervisory reports regarding work site record keeping
? Previous landscape crew or other management experience
? Solid knowledge of plant maintenance and installation
? Demonstrated knowledge of power machinery such as hedgers, chain saws, tillers, and sod cutters
? Ability to drive a truck with trailer attached: demonstrated backing skills
? Ability to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis
? Reliability: showing up to work on time and when scheduled
? Computer access for job scheduling
? Own transportation to and from office
? Valid clean driver's license

All positions are part time. Available work days are Monday through Friday. Season runs late March through November. Compensation dependent on experience, starting at $10 for Gardeners and Laborers, $11 for Foreman.
