Motorcycle Technician/Dismantler (Sycamore, IL)

We offer a relatively (compared to corporate america) laid back environment where you can have some flexibility if you so desire (within reason!). Because we are a smaller company, we are all pretty friendly and like a small family. We offer flexibility because of our size, but also ask that our employees return the flexibility from time to time by helping us out on smaller projects, working a few hours saturday a couple times a year, etc. We are looking for someone who is serious about working a full 40 hours each week and enjoys being around motorcycles and working with their hands.

We are looking for someone full time who's primary responsibilities will be:

-Overall cleanliness of the shop area & their personal work area/toolbox, etc
-Disassembly of motorcycles, ATV's and other powersports vehicles
-Operating a walk behind forklift to move units and unload/load new vehicles
-Cataloging, taking pictures and tagging inventory items
-Assisting shipping and sales staff with questions pertaining to specific pieces
-Managing shipping supply inventories
-Managing scrap load, waste oil & gas disposal
-From time to time, assist in diagnosing vehicles and repairing
-Help with other shipping, office and shop duties as required.
