? Job Title: MS Exchange System Engineer / Senior Help Desk Engineer

? Job Description:
Seeking an individual to manage all aspects of our clients' Exchange 2010 environments. Candidate will also provide escalated helpdesk support and perform network administration duties for our Managed Services client companies. Work includes on-site installations and system maintenance/repair. This person should be self-motivated and have strong leadership, communication, presentation, and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally talented in customer service.

? Responsibilities:

? Will be engaged 25% of time in project acquisition, including planning and implementation, 35% acting preemptively as Network/Mail Administrator, and 40% of the time performing Managed Service/Help desk support.

? Manage all Microsoft Exchange including: troubleshooting, new installations, migration from older versions, moving to virtual platforms either on-site or at our hosting facility.

? Lead a variety of projects ranging from planning technical design to implementation. This person will be involved with server and desktop virtualization and remote access.

? Should have ability to review and diagnose systems and applications, their use and methodology for deployment and management.

? Work with client staff to create and implement group policies associated with application suites, balancing security and ease of use.

? Review and design client remote access needs, including SSL VPN's, web publishing and access to virtual desktops.

? Provide Administrative Network support for client systems through our Managed Services solutions. Perform routine functions such as account creation, password changes, etc. Maintain and troubleshoot network and infrastructure components, working with vendors as required. Tasks include execution of scheduled system maintenance, device management, and deployment of our managed services tools to new customers.

? Provide escalated help desk support for telephone, email, and web requests. Assess problems, prioritize responses, research solutions, resolve or further escalate problems in a timely manner. Correctly document problems and resolutions in service tickets for client review, knowledgebase, analytics, and proper billing.

Job Requirements:

? 3-5 years related experience in IT and working in a customer service role.

? Outstanding customer service attitude.

? MCITP: Messaging 2010 OR
serious equivalent knowledge AND must hold one or more Microsoft certifications.

? Have a minimum of two years of installing, administering and troubleshooting Exchange Server

? Have a minimum of six months of experience working with Exchange 2010

? Have a minimum of two years of experience administering Windows Server, including Windows Server 2008

? Have a minimum of two years of experience working with Active Directory

? Have a minimum of two years of experience working with name resolution, including DNS

? Advanced knowledge of Windows 7, XP and Microsoft Office.

? Have experience working with certificates, including PKI certificates

? Have experience working with Windows PowerShell

? Foundation level knowledge in VMware ESXi and Virtual Center products.

? Experience configuring routers/firewalls.

? RDS/Citrix/Terminal services experience.
? Working knowledge of MSP tools, RMM and PSA.

? Excellent written, verbal and customer service skills, with the ability to train and guide end users.

? Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with stressful situations.

? Ability to work in a team environment and share information with team members.

? Ability to multi-task efficiently.

? Outstanding troubleshooting abilities a must.

? Ability to use online resources to complete troubleshooting process.

? Ability to set priorities and organize workflow.

? Must be naturally curious and have a desire to learn.

? Ability to travel locally 25%

? Ability to be on call 7x24 on occasion.

? Ability to work Statutory Holidays on occasion

? Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, business acumen, customer focus and are results oriented

? Preferred Qualifications:

? Working knowledge of VMware 4/5, vSphere, and ESXi/ESX troubleshooting

? Able to troubleshoot platform performance in a virtualized environment

? Experience troubleshooting load and disk I/O issues

? Understanding of SAN components and functions

? Experience troubleshooting multi-tier application connectivity from application layer through the physical layer

? Experience troubleshooting advanced VPN connectivity

? LAN/WAN infrastructure management using SNMP or GUI tools.
? Hardware experience utilizing Dell servers and SAN platforms.

? Working Conditions:

Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the client systems being supported. Work requires extensive periods of time sitting at a desk and/or workstation. Position may also occasionally lift and/or move computer and server equipment up to 100 pounds.
