More infoWe are seeking a fleet maintenance supervisor for our Niles division. The Shop Foreman supervises aspects of the maintenance operation during shift to include preventative maintenance and repair of a large fleet of buses and sedans. The Shop Foreman will be responsible for all maintenance and utility staff during their assigned shift. Successful applicant will assure that all contractual requirements are achieved. Duties include supervision of the maintenance program and reports as well as tracking work orders and filling appropriately. The fleet maintenance supervisor will work under the Fleet Maintenance Manager in the running of the day-to-day business. The position is an overnight position working Monday thru Friday from 8pm to 7am.

Job Requirements

? CDL class C with passenger endorsement.
? Must be able to properly prioritize, implement and manage projects and assignments.
? Must have prior supervisory experience, crews from 7-10.
? Must have the ability to track and control parts inventories, vendors and suppliers.
? Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff in written and oral formats.
? Must have computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and Microsoft outlook.
? Must have technical competence with light / medium duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance.
? Must display initiative, professionalism, candor and tact at all times.
? Ford Diesel experience preferred.
? ASE certified preferred.
? Experience with transit bus and Paratransit bus maintenance preferred.
? Ability to work overnight Monday thru Friday from 8pm to 7am.
