Pediatric practice in Frankfort, IL is looking for a part-time medical assistant. Small practice looking for an outgoing, hardworking, and dependable person that enjoys working with children. Previous pediatric experience will be given highest consideration. Experience with EClinical EMR helpful. Certification a must, new graduates must sit for and pass exam within 6 months of hire.

Main responsibilities will include:
-Rooming patients
-Basic history taking
-Taking measurements and vitals
-Giving injections (immunizations)
-Cleaning and stocking of exam rooms
-Light filing, appointment scheduling, making appointment reminder calls, answering phones and taking phone messages, assisting receptionist
-Other duties as assigned by physician

Hours: Tuesday 9:30-5pm, Wednesday 9:30-5pm, and Saturday 8:30-12pm, possibility for more hours as office implements EMR

Start immediately

Starting Wage $14/hr
