Well established Chicago based multi family real estate investment and property management company is recruiting an Bookkeeper/Accountant for immediate hire. Requirements
2 - 4 years relevant experience -- we check all references
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
Familiar with an accounting package -- Quickbooks, & Yardi a meager plus
Experience in Real Estate business a plus
Accounts Receivable Management
Accounts Payable Management
Daily deposits
Daily updating of all rental accounts as payments are received
Daily monitoring/reporting of cash position
Prep all A/P for CEO review
Payroll processing
Manager all vendor relationships -- W-9, Liability Insurance, Lien Waivers, Contracts
Monthly Bank Reconciliations
Work with outside CPA on monthly review of books and yearend tax prep
Assist CEO with property financings
Cash Flow forecasting
Managing Financial reporting to Third Parties
Excellent organization skills and systems
Additional responsibilities may include working with housing agencies (Section 8) on all paperwork
