Permanent Seasonal Position

If you have been with a regional or large local firm for at least four or five years, and have prepared thousands of 1040's and hundreds of 1120/1120S/1065, and are looking for a permanent home, we would like to meet you.

If you wish to permanently affiliate with one firm, we can manage a schedule to fit your desire. Full time is a possibility but not required.

The ideal candidates for this position will have five plus years of 1040 experience. You should already have very strong preparation, review and research experience; have strong communication and organization skills. You must be a self starter and follow through on the clients assigned. We will help you grow in the area of taxation. A Masters of Taxation as well as a CPA certificate will move you to the top of the list, but do not be shy.

We are looking for someone interested in working part time throughout the year -- of course increased hours in tax season (within reason) are part of the program. We do not require overtime, but we do meet clients at night and on weekends by appointment.

Baloun & Company LLC is a 34 year old, 16 person, Palatine CPA Firm. Our six person tax department includes a number of professionals who came to us after stints with larger firms or working as a sole proprietor.
