Administer and update policies, procedures, employee handbook, and forms to ensure compliance with wage & hour, FMLA, ADA, EEO and other state and federal regulations.
Update and maintain personnel and payroll data in HR system
Update and promote the firm's course listing information for employee enrollment
Coordinate and manage the recruitment and onboarding process, including the management of new hire paperwork and files both onsite and offsite
Manage the maintenance of keeping all job descriptions up to date with current responsibilities and qualifications
Handle day-to-day HR operational requests. Enroll new employees in payroll and all benefit plans
Coordinate the implementation, communication, and administration of employee benefit and retirement programs.
Maintains all employee files
Handle benefit claims in compliance with HIPAA and ERISA regulations
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Business Management, Organizational Development or other related discipline is required.
2+ years previous administrative/generalist experience required with hands-on experience
Must have a strong track record resolving complex employee relations issues.
Has working knowledge of federal and state labor
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in MS Office applications
