Leading company in Chicago is seeking an exceptional Legal Secretary. This will be a great opportunity to further your career, as well as to build the skills and track record that every Legal professional needs!

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the efforts on the following:
? Prepares, types and files legal documents, e.g. appeals, motions and subpoenas
? Locates important information for cases.
? Provides administrative support not only to lawyers but also to significant members of a team of professionals who work together.
? Be able to apply skills with modern technology--calculators, office equipment, computers.
? Keep track on countless filing deadlines by maintaining multifaceted docket systems; make spreadsheets; file and update pleadings and discovery binders; schedule depositions, site inspections, hearings, closings and meetings.
? Outline correspondence and routine legal documents, e.g. deposition notices and legal invoices.
? Contribute with legal research and interconnect with attorneys, experts, opposing counsel, vendors and other staff.
? Ensure accurate citations by comparing legal references with reference books.
? Do referral of callers and visitors to the appropriate attorney, department or agency.
? Manage business travels e.g. books international and domestic flight, hotel reservations and transfers, travel schedules, and other business engagement.
? Knowledgeable about client billing.

Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge in Excel, Word, Outlook, English for Business is required
* Excellent leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Detail oriented, with the upmost discipline to meet deadlines
* Highly driven and able to learn quickly
* Bachelor Degree in a relevant field of study
