Ideal candidates will be self motivated, organized and reliable. Tutors will be expected to keep scheduled tutoring appointments and must be able to commute to the homes or other meeting places of their students. Tutors must be deeply knowledgeable of the subject matter they wish to tutor and of the learning process students go through to master this subject. Tutors must be capable of writing and executing their own lesson plans in an effective manner.
Tutors are needed immediately for following subject areas: High School (Algebra Based) Physics, Anatomy and Physiology.
? Math -- Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry.
? English -- Reading, Grammar, Writing, Composition, Comprehension, etc.
? Science -- Chemistry, Biology, Physics, etc.
? Social Sciences -- Psychology, Political Science, Economics, etc.
? Elementary Mathematics
? High School academic subjects.
? College Level subjects
? Test Preparation-ACT / SAT / PSAE etc.
? Homework Help, Study Skills, Test Anxiety, etc.
? Special Education: ADHD, Dyslexia, and other
Minimum requirements:
? Bachelor's degree.
? Reliable transportation.
? Two years of relevant teaching and/or one-on-one tutoring experience.
? Availability during afternoon, evening and/or weekends.
? All tutors must pass our screening process via phone and in-person interviews, application, reference checks, fingerprinting and background checks.
