3rd Party Logistics Company Seeking Account Executive
Chicago-based full-service dry and refrigerated warehousing, fulfillment and 3PL Company is seeking an Account Executive. Previous experience in truck dispatching or similar services is a must. Sales experience is very important.
The Account Executive will be responsible for growth of clients. His/her duties will include acquiring new accounts, some cold calling, and tending to existing accounts. The Account Executive will be responsible for achieving quarterly quotas in terms of revenue and profit. He/she will have to comply and ensure compliance of all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company policies, procedures and requirements.
Requirements
Generate business leads to continually grow client pipelines.
Ability to qualify sales opportunities, identify key buying influences and close business.
Desire to excel in targeting, prospecting and penetrating clients.
Generate proposals that successfully address the client's requirements.
Strong knowledge of the region, industry products, services and sales tactics.
Previous experience in truck dispatching.
Good familiarity with logistics and warehousing business.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Outgoing personality with aggressive sales skills. Proven selling ability in previous job(s).

This will likely start as a part-time opportunity which will be converted into a full-time position for the right candidate.
