Our progressive, state of the art animal hospital has an immediate opening for a veterinary technician with at least 2 years experience.
We are searching for a technician who fits our mission and practice philosophy.
Applicants must be comfortable with anesthesia during routine and critical procedures, surgical prep, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, preparation and evaluatin of UAs/fecals/ear and blood film cytologies, taking x-rays, treatments of hospitalized patients (may include blood transfusions, feeding tube feedings etc) and dental prophylaxis. CVT preferred.
All team members educate clients, answer phones, clean, stock, restrain, present estimates to clients and are required to use our practice management software. The successful applicant will also have exceptional customer service skills and be willing to go above and beyond for our clients and their beloved pets.
We are open 7a-10p, 7 days per week. Weekend and evening shifts are required.
