Levy Security is currently hiring Armed Security Officers to work in Downtown Chicago. Must posses 20hr basic security training certification, 20hr firearms certification, and FOID card.

Perform mobile, foot and bicycle patrols.
Complete case preparation, attend court, and provide testimony in criminal and/or civil litigation.
Attend department training functions.
Write reports for any incidents.
Take proper care of a personal and department equipment.
Maintain professionalism at all times.
Maintain Dept. authorized firearms as specified in the Operations Manual.
Officers must qualify on the Department utilized firing range every six (6) months, and Officers must possess a valid FOID, FAC, PERC, Illinois Driver's License as well as client and Levy ID Cards.
Perform building checks and assist faculty, staff, students and visitors as needed.
Officers must be able to work any of four (4) Campus Sites.
Perform any additional duties as required.

Requirements

Must have Firearm Authorization Card (FOID) AND 20hr Firearm certification
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have an excellent attendance record
Must have an exceptional customer services skills
Must have an exceptional job performance record and be able to develop and maintain exceptional job performance of Officers
Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Must have an aggressive work philosophy, proficient organizational skills and strong leadership ability
