Title of Position: Beverage Cart Staff

General Purpose:

Under general supervision, performs work of moderate difficulty in maintaining set up and take down of golf course beverage cart and selling product to golfers on golf course.

Qualifications

Service oriented personality able to speak clearly and communicate with ability to listen to and understand information through spoken works and sentences. Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess valid driver's license. Must possess a valid Basset Certificate.

Essential Duties

1. Dependably come to scheduled work shift in a positive state of mind meeting dress and grooming standards for a professional appearance, being prepared and agreeable for all outdoor weather conditions.
2. Provide friendly, efficient and courteous service to guests and fellow workers.
3. Load cart with beer, wine, spirits, food, ice and accessories and record inventory of same prior to departure from facility.
4. Perform responsible techniques in proper cash handling and follow all established cash handling procedures.
5. Obtain cash bank from Accounting and return cash bank in good order at end of shift.
6. Deliver food and refreshments to golfers on the golf course by constantly driving beverage cart throughout populated areas of the golf courses, stopping to inquire if guest is interested in a refreshment or recognizing an interested guest.
7. Be familiar with Arrowhead facility.
8. Practice teamwork at all times.
9. Must follow, administer and implement Wheaton Park District policies and guidelines.
10. Provide excellent customer service to the internal and external customer by greeting them and smiling when they come into the Arrowhead Golf Club.
11. Must maintain a valid Basset Certificate.

Safety, Health and Loss Control

1. Be familiar with the Employee Safety Manual.
2. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area to prevent food borne illness.

1. Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges while being careful about detail and thoroughness in work tasks.
2. Present honest work ethic.
3. Assist peers when needed or requested.
4. Flexible to changes.

Hours:
20-32 hrs per week
Days, nights, weekends & holidays

$4.95 plus tips
