Precast Concrete Plant Seeks An Energetic Laborer.
Candidate must be dependable and must be able to work in an industrial environment. This means you will get somewhat dirty while working at our precast concrete operation. Do not apply if you are uncomfortable with this. Work is performed inside our heated manufacturing building.
The successful candidate will receive 40-hrs per work week. The work day is either 6:00am - 2:30pm,or, 7:00a.m. -- 3:30p.m. Monday through Friday.
This is a temporary full time position that may materialize into a full time position. Right now we estimate 6-8 weeks if nothing changes. This is a fluid situation.
? A conscientious and enthusiastic worker who can attend to details
? You must have a valid driver's license, a CDL is a plus
? Experience working in a concrete plant or with concrete,or similar work is a plus
? Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus
? Ability to lift 75 pounds is required
? You must be able to work on your feet all day (except for breaks and lunch)
? You must be able to bend, reach, and climb on and around steel forms
? You must be focused and safety minded
? You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Our plant is located near Golf and River Roads.on the northeast side of Des Plaines.
Starting hourly rate is 12.50 - 13.50/hour dependent on qualifications. Pay is weekly.
