THE JELLYVISION LAB NEEDS A PRODUCTION ARTIST

Founded by the same folks who created the hit YOU DON’T KNOW JACK® game series, The Jellyvision Lab, Inc. uses Interactive Conversation, a new approach to interactivity we’ve pioneered, to create virtual teachers, insurance agents, salespeople… you name it. Interactive Conversation allows machines to communicate more like people. Not in a creepy robot sort of way, but in a fun, radio/television sort of way. 

THAT’S LOVELY… BUT WHAT’S THE JOB?

The Jellyvision Lab is in search of a Production Artist to help us with Flash-based/HTML 5 illustration and animation on a full-time basis. We’re looking for an artist who gets the technology and can actually draw with a pencil as well.

Responsibilities

Working to create supplemental materials for our Interactive Conversations – if a client needs a brochure, PDF or PowerPoint you’ll be on the case!Editing or changing interactive art and animationDrawing assets for videos and interactive graphicsLooking for and editing stock imagesBasic-level quality assuranceAssist graphic artists with daily projects and workloadThoughtfully provide, and graciously accept, feedback on your work and the work of others, to ensure that the end product we provide our clients is the best that it can be.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

Your portfolio/reels should show the following:

A great eye for designTraditional drawing skillsInterest in typographyBasic/working knowledge of Flash/ActionscriptHTML and CSS skills are a huge, huge plusA keen interest in Web DesignWe also want to see basic computer skills including:Flash (a MUST)HTML and HTML5After EffectsAdobe PhotoshopAdobe Illustrator
