Job summary: The Steward is responsible for receiving, stocking and inventorying all restaurant products. Achieving the optimum level of production, minor maintenance, organization and cleanliness of the entire restaurant.

Essential Functions: Must be willing and able to:

SUSHI CHEF JOB DESCRIPTION

Job summary:
A SUSHI CHEF is responsible for assisting the sushi chef team in achieving the optimum professional service to guests.

Essential Functions:
Work a variable and flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends and holidays
Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety
Work with high sense of urgency
Follow plating instructions as directed
Properly follow recipe formats and food storage protocol
Practice safe and sanitary food handling protocol
Do food preparation of vegetables, proteins and grains etc.
Taste and maintain a consistent flavor profile per Chef's requirements
Work in a high pace and high volume environment
Work in a temperature sensitive environment such as walk-ins, freezers and kitchens
Read and write in English in regards to POS food tickets, prep lists, invoices, recipes etc.
Assist in the receiving and storage of all food and non-food products
Work in a 3 level kitchen requiring the use of stairs
Stand and/or walk for entire shift
