Cable Install Technician (Streamwood)

As a Field Technician, you will get involved with a company that lives and breathes technology. In this role, you will install, reconnect, add and/or change video products or services in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC). Our people-friendly Field Technicians connect our customers equipment, including but not limited to, VOIP, High Speed Internet, wireless network, and HD TV. You will troubleshoot and repair, and explain to customers how the equipment is used in an easy-to-understand manner.

CAVO provides company trucks, safety gear, industry specific tools, Symbol units, meters, and uniforms.

*Must pass a full criminal background check, drug screen, and have a good driving record.

*Previous cable, satellite, or low voltage wiring experience a plus. 

*Successful completion of training and/or certification programs.

*High School Diploma or equivalent.

*Excellent customer service skills.

*Excellent written and oral communication. 

*Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. 

*Attention to detail.

*Must be willing to work 6 days a week

*Flexible team player.

*PERC Card a plus!
