We are a busy Home Care Agency with an opening for an entry level part time Office Assistant/Scheduler. There is growth potential for the right candidate. On the job training will be provided to the applicant that we feel best suits our needs. This position requires this candidate to be in the office from 9:00AM-1pm or 1-5pm Monday-Friday, and on call times not in the office.
Responsibilities include:
Complete background checks for all new caregivers.
Orientation and training of caregivers.
Answer calls from caregivers and troubleshooting their concerns. This is an on-call responsibility.
Staff all new Start of Care cases and open schedules for existing clients.
Utilize and maintain the data in the staffing software.
Monitor daily schedules.
Enter new employees in to the system and make any updates as needed.
Review with sales team, all paperwork for any staffing changes that occurred while off duty.
If caregiver calls off or can't make it on time to start her shift you must start staffing immediately
(that means you might have to fill in until you are relieved by another caregiver).
Go through all client and caregiver schedules daily to see that schedules are correct and complete.
Audit inflow of paperwork for staffing purposes and for IDPH compliance.
Checking in on clients and caregivers per IDPH regulations.
Answering office phones.
Filing and assist with various marketing materials for sales staff.
CNA Certificate.
Associates Degree in a related field preferred .
The ability to prioritize and maintain a pleasant disposition while working in a busy environment.
Time management skills.
Attention to detail.
Desire to go the extra mile for our clients and caregivers.
Respect for punctuality.
Strong computer experience (Word, Excel, Quickbooks, &Soneto).
Dependable transportation.
Minimum of two years work experience as a caregiver for a senior client is required.
