Seeking an operations manager to manage the day to day logistics of a Freedom Boat Club Franchise opening in Chicago at Montrose Harbor in 2014.

This position is responsible for the day to day operations of the club, membership sales, member and staff training, boat maintenance and general customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a customer service business in the marine industry, possess a USCG captains license, knowledgeable with general boat maintenance and have experience training individuals in how to operate a boat safely on the Great Lakes. This position is a management position overseeing sales managers and support staff so prior experience supervising others is a key aspect of this position.

While the business is seasonal this position is fulltime and during the non boating season the Club Manager will be selling membership, working trade shows to promote the club and attending networking events so it is imperative the successful candidate be comfortable with not only managing but also the sales process.
