Small commercial printer in the Downers Grove area is seeking an
EXPERIENCED DIGITAL PRESS OPERATOR with a strong background in bindery.

This is NOT an entry level position; you must have some digital printing and bindery experience.
If you have printing or sign shop experience you may be what we are looking for.

Ideal candidate will possess:
- experience running production level digital copiers with a rip
- skill in preflighting files for digital production
- a good eye for color and competence in matching spot and process color
on a digital machine
- experience producing a wide variety of digital print items- business cards,
greeting cards, booklets, flyers ...
- bindery experience, including cutting, folding, scoring, perforating, numbering
and booklet making knowledge.
- A strong work ethic with excellent organizational skills
- an aptitude for trouble shooting machinery.
- The ability to follow detailed instructions while working independently

A working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Quark Xpress is a plus.

This is a fast paced printing environment. We are a smaller, but stable and rapidly growing company who has been successful in the industry for nearly two decades.
