Our team is growing and looking for a shop supervisor. This is a growth position. We're looking for an individual who will join our team as we grow and evolve into a world class operation. This position is in Chicago Heights.

Shop manager responsibilities
? Interface with customers and provide outstanding customer service
? Build relationships with customers and build a customer base
? Oversee inspections and repair of vehicles
? Meticulous management of expenses
? Maintain stock of shop supplies
? Order parts and materials with a focus on getting good quality products at the best possible price
? Schedule team member time to ensure optimal productivity
? Outsource work when workload exceeds capacity
? Maintain a professional, safe, and orderly shop
? Assist with repairs
? Assist with diagnoses
? Suggest solutions and courses of action based off research and experience
? Perform repairs when workload demands
? Achieve optimal team member productivity through leadership, management, and organizational skills.
? Lead by example. Look, act, and be professional and demand the same of your team

Shop manager qualifications
? Energetic, polite, engaged, and ambitious
? High school education or equivalent
? Must have experience or a minimum a working knowledge of automobiles
? Must have prior leadership experience
? Must be organized, responsive, dynamic, and reactive
? Exceptionally strong computer skills
? Cost effective and productive
? Understands and thrives in a changing environment
? Understands and embraces processes and procedures
? Embraces change and continuous improvement
? Must demonstrate an ability to supervise the work activities of others
? Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with team members, customers, and the management team
? Must possess a high level of dependability, creativity, judgment and accuracy
? Must have the ability to work the hours that are required of the position
? Must be able to work a flexible schedule
? Full-time associates must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including mornings, days, nights, and weekends
