North Shore Accounting/Financial services firm seeks an experienced Tax Professional looking for employment during TAX SEASON only. This position will focus on preparing Federal and State tax returns. Candidate must be comfortable working extended hours during tax season, including weekend hours.

Tax Preparer Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Preparing 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S returns.
- Answering IRS & other government agency adjustment notices.
- Assisting in Payroll tax return preparation as needed.

Tax Preparer Requirements include, but are not limited to:

- Minimum 3 years return preparation experience.
- Proficient in Intuit ProSeries tax software.
- Availability to work extended seasonal hours, including weekends.
- Passing of a background check.

Minimum undergraduate degree required in accounting or finance.

Compensation commensurate with experience.

Candidates will be required to prepare a tax return using 2012 ProSeries software at our office prior to a formal interview.
