compensation: Straight Salary to start, then commission based.Fox Valley area Kitchen and Bath dealer seeks a qualified candidate for a Kitchen and Bath Designer/Showroom sales consultant. You will be responsible for the design and sale of residential kitchens & baths.

Required Skills
As a Showroom Consultant, you must be optimistic, friendly and service oriented. Excellent verbal communication is a must.
All interested applicants must possess:
High school degree or equivalent
Minimum 2+ years in Kitchen and Bath Related field
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel)
The ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
Our ideal candidate will also possess:
A comprehensive knowledge of products
Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends
Must have reliable transportation

Qualification/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with clients to discuss all aspects of creating, remodeling or updating the kitchen or bath of their home. You would discuss building materials, themes, colors, patterns and room layout with a client. You'll then have to produce Designs and/or drawings based on what the client wants and needs.

? Excellent oral and written communication skills
? Order entry, order reviews & confirmations to be accurate & correct.
? Experience working with semi-custom and custom cabinetry
? Keep up with product knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, decorative plumbing products and appliance
? Keep showroom updated with all sales materials needed. Maintain showroom's cleanliness.
? Design, estimate, close sales, field measure and layout, order & create installation drawings
? Handle inside sales from walk-in traffic or referrals and establish new contacts through self-generated leads
? Saturday showroom schedule is required.
? Possess a "Whatever it takes" attitude
? Assisting clients with material selections
? Strong organizational skills and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at a time
? Oversee projects from beginning to end
? Estimate costs of design and submit orders to vendors
Prepare sales contract for the client and collect payments
