This position gives you the opportunity to go on job assignments as a substitute teacher or aide in a childcare facility, after school program, pre-school, and/or infant center. You will be assisting in day-to-day routine activities, interacting with children, and helping schools maintain their educational level of excellence.

General Qualifications:
-Dedicated to the development of young children
-Work or volunteer experience in a child care setting, camp or school
-CPR/First Aid a plus
-Bilingual a plus, but not required
*Applicants with Current Fingerprint/Background Check in the DCFS database Preferred*

Specific Position Qualifications:

Preschool Teacher's Aide: H.S Diploma with at least 1 year of Early Education classroom experience
*Preference to those currently enrolled in an early education college program

Teacher: AA/AS in Early Childhood Education, CDA, or 60+ credits w/6+ in Early Childhood Education

Head Start Teacher: BA/BS Degree in Early Childhood Education or BA/BS degree in any major with at least 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education

Head Start Lead Teacher: Professional Educators License with Early Education Endorsement (previously Type 04)
