Community Association Manager (Tinley Park)
Community Association Manager needed for a growing Management Company with a broad portfolio of Community Associations throughout the suburbs of Chicago. We are looking to fill our new opening with someone who is career-minded, in other words someone who takes pride in what they do and are just not in it for a paycheck. You must have legendary customer service skills, be dependable and have the ability to hold yourself accountable at all times. The ability to multi-task and be able to change direction at a moment's notice but all while still being able to deal with a stressful situation and not let it show is a necessity! We believe that our Customers should always come first and want someone who will always go above and beyond.
We are very focused on Team Work and feel that our Team Members are the structure to our success. We offer a casual dress environment but professional dress is occasionally required. The hours for this position are Mon-Fri 8:00 - 5:00 but you must have the ability to work evenings to attend Association meetings, etc. Telecommuting may be considered in the future.
Job Duties Include:
- Attend board meetings; manage Annual meeting processes and any special meetings as needed.
- Interact with maintenance teams / vendors.
- Onsite visits as required.
- Prepare, write, and distribute Management reports.
- Provide 24 hour emergency maintenance (on-call on rotating basis).
- Professionally communicate with external/internal parties to obtain information needed to complete projects.
- Other management tasks as needed to manage other responsibilities.
Qualifications Needed:
- At least one year of Community Association Management experience.
- Professional business writing and communication skills as well as the ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Self-Motivation with the ability to anticipate the needs of our Associations needs as well as the ability to work independently
with attention to detail.
- The ability to deal with a variety of personality types as well as negative situations.
