Established company seeks upbeat and friendly receptionist to answer incoming calls, assist customers and lend a hand to the office staff.

Candidate should be customer service minded and a true team player. A professional appearance, articulate and clear speaking voice, and a helpful demeanor are strong requirements. The ability to juggle simultaneous tasks and adjust to change on a daily basis is essential to the position.

We are a small family business in its third generation. We have been servicing the Northshore and Chicagoland since 1947.

This is a full time hourly position with benefits available after the orientation period. Starting wage is $10.00 / hour. Hours are 8:30-5:30. Consistency, attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.

Qualifications:
- Ability to type at least 35 words per minute
- Aptitude for learning new procedures
- Familiar with office equipment
- Customer service orientated
- Ability to file accurately

Position Duties Include:
- Greeting visitors at front counter in professional and courteous manner
- Answering and transferring calls in a professional, courteous and accurate manner
- Scanning paid paperwork accurately and precisely
- Filing various paperwork accurately and precisely
- Keeping front office tidy, clean and inviting
- Maintaining 'prepped' office supplies
- Assisting customers with messages and other needs
- Assisting other staff with various projects and needs
- Other duties as assigned
