EBI is seeking a full-time Project Scientist with two to five years experience to conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessment reports and wireless National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) reports.

This position will require you to perform field inspections of various property types, primarily sites under consideration for telecommunications installations. You will perform independent research of local, state, and federal resources in compiling the information required for Phase I ESAs, and NEPA Screening Reports. Technical report writing is required. The position typically involves approximately 50% field time and 50% home office time.

Additional skills required:
? An understanding of and experience with NEPA reviews for proposed construction projects, including evaluating impacts to floodplains, wetlands, endangered species habitats, and historic properties
? Excellent report writing skills, computer and internet skills
? Excellent communication and management skills
? Excellent time management and organizational skills. This position will require you to simultaneously manage electronic deliverables on many ongoing projects.
? Ability to complete assignments on-time and within budget
? Ability to travel on short notice (1 week or less). This position will require travel primarily throughout the Midwest as well as occasional trips throughout the US in an effort to support national needs. All related travel expenses are reimbursed.
? Phase II Subsurface Investigation experience/OSHA HAZWOPER Certification preferable.
? LBP and ACM Certification a plus.

Education & Experience requirements: BA or BS in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Geology, Engineering or related fields. Minimum of two to five years of related experience.

Registration requirements: OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER, AHERA certified building inspector, and LBP certification a plus.

This individual will report directly to the Research and Development Manager of the division and responsibilities include:

The Associate Scientist will support the Innovation Department by collaborating with the R&D Manager and Innovation Team to develop new food products and improve existing ones. This motivated individual will be expected to leverage and expand their knowledge related to ingredients, product formulation and food processing with an emphasis in RTD beverage products.

Essential Duties:
? Assist with the hands on development of new product, line extensions, quality improvement, cost improvement, ingredient substitution and applied technology related projects
? Conduct and or arrange quantitative and qualitative analyses to determine chemical, microbiological, and physical properties of raw materials and finished products
? Work with various departments to assist in managing and compiling new product information manuals (raw materials specifications, formulas, packaging information, nutritionals, processing parameters, QC specifications, labels, marketing materials, finished product specifications)
? Assist managing product concepts from development to commercialization
? With assistance become competent in formula development
? Provide technical support to other functional groups within the organization
? Perform bench top experiment and conduct sensory testing and analyze results in support of the development of new or improving existing products
Qualifications:
? Minimum BS in Food Science
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? 0-1 years product development experience with RTD juice beverage experience preferred
? Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in formula development, commercialization and product development process
? Computer literacy essential
? Critical thinking and problem solving skills
? Demonstrated technical competency through strong written and communication skills
Ability to travel 10%
