A Combination (Combo) driver's responsibilities vary depending on the current need at our Service Centers.
They may be asked to shuttle freight to other Averitt facilities or deliver freight locally.
Combo drivers could also work on the dock and assist with loading our customer's valuable cargo.

Whatever it may be, our Combo drivers are flexible and enjoy the variety of contributing in different ways while still being home daily!

Duties/Responsibilities Include:
Perform pre and post trip inspections, Drive tractor/trailer or straight truck, Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level, Load/unload/move freight, Lift or open trailer doors
Hook/unhook trailer, Operate forklift, Count freight, Operate Qual-Comm, Operate scanner (on dock)
Complete Bill of Lading, Complete manifest, Fuel tractor, Complete Delivery Receipt
Obtain sales leads, Secure extra shipments, Regular predictable attendance
