A growing PPC agency in Chicago is seeking an analytical, confident pay per click professional with hands-on Adwords/AdCenter experience. It would be a huge plus is you are Google Adwords certified (send copy of link with job application if you are).You should be on top of the latest trends in PPC and enjoy improving the performance of pay-per-click accounts.

We provide a custom strategy for all of our clients, who spend anywhere from $1,000/month to over $100,000/month through SEM. A genuine interest in helping companies succeed online is a must. You will be given plenty of opportunities as you prove yourself over time and we expect a desire to grow your career/skills right alongside the agency.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Adwords Account Management -- You should be comfortable using Excel to work with our campaign builder (intermediate level Excel formulas). Familiarity with Adwords Editor is also necessary. We also prefer Adwords interface experience to navigate accounts without assistance.

- PPC Reporting & Analysis -- You should be great with Word, Excel and using Adwords/AdCenter data to make logical decisions. You'll need to export reports from Adwords, review the account performance and provide suggestions on how to improve the PPC accounts further.

- Client Communication -- You will be the point person for your assigned accounts, as well as general technical questions related to PPC. Experience working directly with clients by phone and email is preferred.

Desired Skills:

- Google Adwords Certification (send link with your response if you are)

- Strong ability in setting up and managing PPC campaigns through Google Adwords & Microsoft AdCenter

- Comfortable using Adwords editor on a daily basis

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently

Bonus Skills:

- Google Analytics experience (able to link Google Analytics to Adwords, tag Adwords URLs for Google Analytics and analyze secondary PPC data through Analytics)

- Able to place code on a site and check for tracking issues

- Graphic design/banner creation skills (using Photoshop or related tool)

- Landing page development and editing experience

We will provide training to get you up to speed on the PPC set-up process, common account management styles and anything else you might not be familiar with. You don't have to have experience in all areas, but we do prefer candidates with direct Adwords experience.
This is a great opportunity to get in early with a growing SEM agency. There will also be opportunities for web design, SEO and coding if you are interested in these areas.
