Ad Agency Seeks Bookkeeper (Wheaton, IL)

We are looking for a contract bookkeeper to help us set up and manage a complete business office function: A/P, A/R, taxes, payroll, expense tracking and budgeting--the works. We're a small business, so it will be a limited number of hours per week. Say 4-8. We've been in business 11 years, so we know plenty about all this, but we're growing and need someone who knows more than we do.

If you're our new best friend, you'll have 3-5 years direct experience in bookkeeping, a college degree (accounting or finance major is a plus) and you must have worked with service-based companies (ad agency a big, big, big plus). Must be more than proficient with QuickBooks, including Payroll, and know all aspects of handling and filing small business tax forms (payroll, unemployment, etc).

Hours are flexible and you can work from home or our office; a computer is provided. You'd need to be able to come to Wheaton a couple times a month for meetings. And we're a pretty good bunch of folks; you'll like us.
