Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
Native or native-quality speakers of Spanish, French, Italian, German or Mandarin Chinese
Excellent communication and superior organizational skills
Ability to work successfully with colleagues on a team
Shared passion for working with children and achieving Language Stars mission

Job Description:
Teach FunImmersion? programs in multiple Language Stars centers and at-school programs.
o Run structured activities supported by materials, session plans & training provided by Language Stars
o FunImmersion? delivery requires significant physical movement and energy to achieve educational goals.
Support Language Stars program quality and growth:
o Progress tracking: complete progress comments daily and summarize for enrolled families each season
o Communicate with parents at drop-off and pick-up time about progress, including examples of children using the foreign language
o Participate in weekly training sessions with groups of multi-lingual teachers
o Participate in center management, including preparation of materials and administrative activities
o Participate in marketing programs at Language Stars centers and in the community

Job Logistics:
? Partial Full-time Teachers schedules are driven by program demand and thus generally work:
? 80-100% spanning Monday-Sunday where full days are approximately 8:30 am -- 5:45 pm.
? In multiple Language Stars locations
? Part-time Teachers schedules are driven by program demand and are seasonal in nature.

Partial Full-Time Starting Compensation & Benefits:
? Paid Training
? Percentage # half days/wk Compensation
100% 10 $28,000 per year salary & $1,000 end of year bonus
90% 9 $25,200 per year salary & $900 end of year bonus
80% 8 $22,400 per year salary & $800 end of year bonus
? 3 weeks paid vacation
? Option to join Language Stars' health, dental, and vision benefits plans
? Successful partial full-time teachers can enter trajectory toward Senior/Lead Teacher promotion, involving greater responsibility and compensation

Senior Teacher Compensation & Benefits:

90% 9 $27,000 per year salary & $900 end of year bonus
80% 8 $24,000 per year salary & $800 end of year bonus
